FATHER’S DAY...

Today is Father’s Day.  I made a card for Dave’s Dad but not for mine as he doesn’t appreciate them, hardly even looks at them to be honest, so I gave up on that years ago.

I love this design, and ordered the magazine it came from (Cross Stitch Collection) off Ebay specially.  I believe its by Angela Poole, I am a great fan of hers.

Well, as you may already know, Dave's dad is a very fussy customer when it comes to presents so I decided not to buy him anything this Father's Day and made him some shortbread instead, and this card..

My dad is a little easier, he doesn't like much

either but we can get away with a bit more with him.  I bought him this flask which he immediately filled with John Smith's and I also made him some shortbread and this card...

Dave's Dad's Father's Day Card ...

Father's Day charts are very few and far between unless your dad likes golf or you happen to be five years old or he's "the best dad in the world". Hence only a card for Dave's dad this year, I've bought my dad one as he doesn't fit any of the criteria!

Here's my dad's Father's Day card. I thought it was a bit too similar to the one I did him for his birthday, but everything else I found just wasn't suitable. Golfing (?), Best Dad In The World (??). So this one had to do. It looks good though.
