Daisy...

Well, Daisy is finished, framed and up on the wall.
I've taken down Magnolia for now and replaced her with Daisy.  We live in quite a small house and Dave doesn't want every wall covered with stitching (?), so I decided to swap pictures in existing frames.
Isn't she pretty?

We are off to the Lake District for a couple of days tomorrow.  Can't wait.

Dave's Dad's Birthday...

Today is my father-in-law's 82nd birthday.  82 and fit as a flea, well, relatively speaking anyway.  He's a bugger to buy for, we've even had presents returned to us by him!  Anyway, the other week he and Dave were talking about the Queens Diamond Jubilee and he showed Dave his little hoard of commemorative coins starting with the Coronation one so  Dave had a good idea (had to happen sooner or later!) and we bought him the official Diamond Jubilee coin to add to his collection.  I also made him this card...
I've been busy stitching Nora Corbett's Daisy to go on my living room wall.  Here's a progress photo, sorry about the creases.
